In 2013 we took the small step and decided to dream big....and opened our first "proper" little Nunabean retail space at the Watershed V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
After 6 wonder-filled years, it is with a heavy heart we announce our departure from the beautiful Watershed at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. With much back and forthing, closing on the 23 March for 3 months over Lockdown and re-opening again on the 1 September 2020, we have had to make the difficult decision to officially close down our space as of 30 November 2020.
Thank You for your loyal service Monica Mudimba and Beverley Louw. And much gratitude to Catherine from @Lovelystuff for sharing our special space, and for all your kindness and understanding and always “putting things so nicely” :)
Banter with our neighbours will be dearly missed, and interacting and sharing the space with the ama-zing local entrepreneurs who pour their heart and soul into their small businesses. We hope to see ALL of you on the other side of this pandemic.
This space, our colleagues, the chance to interact and meet our customers face to face, and our time spent at the Watershed was truly special and will remain close to our heart. And an extra huge gratitude filled Thank You to my family, friends and to all the Nunabean customers for their support!
And in the words of the wise Pooh Bear “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard” .
